Accessibility
At GitHub, our mission is to accelerate human progress through developer collaboration. We believe people with disabilities should benefit from and be able to contribute to the creation of that progress. As such, we strive to ensure that, like our product, our branding efforts are designed to be as inclusive as possible, including to those with visual impairment.
Color
We use color in brand for brand recognition and expression. We anchor around GitHub Green, complimenting it with a wide palette to ensure our visuals are rich and dimensional. Occasionally we pair GitHub Green with an accent color to help tell the story of different parts of the GitHub ecosystem.
Logo
Our logo represents our brand and helps people recognize us at a glance. As a key part of our identity, it should be used consistently.
Typography
We rely on a handful of custom fonts to carry forward our brand message, centered on Mona Sans SemiBold and Monaspace Neon Medium. These fonts are used in our event and marketing materials, and are open source.
